Tech Mentorship

The Tech Mentorship Program at Pi214 is a six-month immersive experience in computer science and critical thinking, led by industry professionals from partners like John Deere and Principal Financial. Students build a strong foundation in Python through hands-on coding and classroom instruction, collaborate with peers, and explore a wide range of careers in technology. Upon completion, students may earn three college credits through DMACC.

Students, depending on the location of their home schools, will be divided between two locations for the program: Principal Financial Group in Downtown Des Moines, IA and John Deere ISG in Johnston, IA.

This is an amazing free opportunity for all high school students grades 9 through 12. The program meets from September to March on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:45 P.M. to 5:00 P.M.
